The rewriting of the myth banalizes the characters but emphazises the emotional power of the events : be present at a drama in the life of someone who looks like us seems to be more stronger than look at tragic heroes who would cross the sames dramas. The humanization of the characters heightens our empathy, and it's simply powerful !
The performance draws up a strong strength, with some disturbances because of the lost of a child theme ; during the show, we also experience a strong softness. […] Everythings happens in a strange frailness and the interstice between the eyesight and the hearing rises up an in-between realistic and oneiric at the same time. We do not come out unharmed from the performance of this powerfull duo of actors.
Le spectacle appartient à un genre encore largement absent du paysage théâtral français, le « physical theater ». Ce mélange entre danse et théâtre amène ici un rythme très intense au spectacle. Les tableaux s’enchaînent, nourris de textes mais aussi de chorégraphies. C’est un mélange réjouissant, qui permet un réel investissement émotionnel et intellectuel à la croisée des deux disciplines, et quand c’est parfaitement maîtrisé comme c’est le cas ici, c’est un genre qui permet une vraie exigence intellectuelle et artistique.
